ANSI Measurement Guide

Oticon

Software: Oticon Genie, Oticon Genie2
Connection Device: miniRITE (FittingLINK)
  1. Detect wirelessly (FittingLINK)
  2. Connect HA
  3. Specify the receiver
  4. Select Settings
  5. Select Fitting Menu
  6. In Tools Menu, Select Technical Measurements
  7. Click OK for warning menu
  8. In Technical Measurements Window
    1. ​Select Full on Gain for ANSI
    2. Select ANSI Reference Gain for HA values
    3. Select User Settings for Directional and Distortion
  1. Oticon Genie (can select method of connection)
  2. ​Technical Data is present within software

Phonak

Target
  1. Open Phonak Target
    1. Set up with iCube (Wireless) or NoahLink (w/ cable)
    2. In Client & Session screen Click tools (bottom right)
    3. In Test settings tab, click Test settings under Hearing Instruments
    4. Select fitting device
    5. Click continue
    6. Select hearing instrument
    7. Select Gain Settings from this menu and run ANSI measurements
    8. For Real Ear Measurements, select Fitting, Fine Tuning
    9. Choose 3, 6, 10, or 16 for frequency selection
IPFG
  1. Open Phonak IPFG
  2. Connect with NoahLink (w/cable)
  3. Click Detect
  4. Use settings from IPFG
  5. In Hearing System Tab, select measurement settings
  6. Save data for client to either the hearing instrument, database or both
  7. In measurement setting tab, select gain settings for ANSI measurements​
  8. For Real Ear Measurements, select Fitting from the left menu and manual fine tuning

ReSound

Software: Aventa ReSound 2.95 (Old) ReSound Smart Fit/Aventa 3.12 (New)
Connection Device: Noahlink Wireless

ANSI Step by Step
  1. Open ReSound Smart Fit
  2. Click on Instrument tab
  3. Select Test Device
  4. Select Continue
  5. Select Continue
  6. On Test Device Window, select Full On Gain, Continue and Apply Test Settings
    1. If devices disconnect, select reconnect devices
  7. Place HAs in Verifit
    1. Select Test Box ANSI
    2. Select Start test for "Full on Gain" measurements​
  8. ​Fit Patient for user settings

  1. Open Unitron TrueFit
  2. Connect HA via detect button 
  3. Select Hearing Instrument, Test Mode
  4. Reconnect HA
